The kids also played games with their counselors.
Jacob, and Skylar, and I went to the zoo a little early one day to visit before it was time to pick up Lauren. We happened to run into her and she gave Jacob a quick hug before running off to her next activity.
As she's planning on being a vet (or a dog trainer, she hasn't decided) someday, this was such a great experience for her. She loved it! Unfortunately, for Mommy, I got my first parking ticket in years, maybe ever (?). It's been 20 years since I've had a speeding ticket and I honestly don't remember if I've ever gotten a parking ticket before. I always try to be very careful about that but this one was tricky. I noticed in later days as I drove into the zoo to pick Lauren up that there was always a car parked in the same spot, with a ticket. Perhaps that means it's not marked well enough and should be changed!
There is a "No Parking" sign but it's near the portion of the curb that is marked red. I parked next to the non-red section in an area that had a parking space outlined. Oh well, I guess I missed something!

I know she had a great week since it was around animals. Hey they have a great program for Vet at Auburn. Uncle Wes would think that was special that his niece went to school where he did. Love Mom
